The branch of dentistry dealing with the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases of the dental pulp, usually by removal of the nerve and other tissue of the pulp cavity and its replacement with suitable filling material; pulp canal therapy; root canal therapy.

IMPLANTS

A dental implant (also known as an endosseous implant or fixture) is a surgical component that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or skull to support a dental prosthesis such as a crown, bridge, denture, facial prosthesis or to act as an orthodontic anchor.

ORTHODONTICS

The branch of dentistry dealing with the prevention and correction of irregular teeth, as by means of braces.

PROSTHODONTIST

The branch of dentistry that deals with the restoration and maintenance of oral function by the replacement of missing teeth and other oral structures by artificial devices

PERIODONTIST

A branch of dentistry that deals with diseases of the supporting and investing structures of the teeth including the gums, cementum, periodontal ligaments, and alveolar bone — called also periodontia, periodontology.

DR. DIAZ

Dr. Diaz is a General Dentist, completed her undergrad studies at Florida International University and received her DMD degree at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

I have always loved dentistry. I feel very fortunate to be part of a field that allows me to take care of others. Building close relationships and understanding people's needs are some of the factors that make me proud of holding a DMD title. My goal is to make sure every patient feels comfortable, pleased and proud of the dental treatment I offered.

Besides dentistry, I also enjoy the sun, outdoors, and family time. I look forward to establishing excellent patient-doctor relationships.

Dr. Diaz is currently an accredited member of Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, South Florida District Dental Association.

DR. ALVARADO

Dr. Alvarado received her degree of Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the State of New Jersey of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Of Cuban origin, she discovered her passion for dentistry at an early age when she began the study of dentistry back in Cuba. With her dream as a goal she was capable to continue her studies and obtained her Bachelor of Biology at Florida International University and a short time after was accepted in the University of Rutgers in New Jersey.

Following her strong ethical principles, she graduated and maintains the belief that the patients’ health is the corner stone of a dental office. Her personal attributes include honesty and her passion for the profession she practices. Her professional goal is for every patient to leave the dental office satisfied with the treatment rendered.

Besides her profession she enjoys time with her family and the trusted relationship with her patients. She also values relaxing and sharing time with her friends.
